Your home away from home in historic Burra
One of Burra's original stone cottages, recently renovated with an open plan living area — this residence is clean, comfortable and has a warm, homely feel you won't want to leave. We renovated the place to sell and loved it so much we decided to keep it. Only a five-minute walk from the main street, you're perfectly placed to explore everything historic Burra has to offer, while still having your own peaceful retreat to come home to. Locally owned by a young couple born and bred in Burra who live just a stone's throw away — so if you need anything during your stay, help is never far.
The Space
Our warm, cosy three-bedroom cottage is only five minutes from the local hotels and coffee shops. Or kick back on the pergola out the back if you'd rather stay home and unwind.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the entire house and yard. There's plenty of room for kids and pets to play outside. A generous continental breakfast is included in your stay — bread, a range of spreads and a selection of cereals.
Other Things to Note
While you're visiting Burra, take time to explore the many heritage sites and enjoy the local restaurants, hotels and coffee shops. You'll be surprised what this little town has to offer.

Location
Burra is a beautifully preserved heritage town in South Australia's mid-north, about two and a half hours from Adelaide. The neighbourhood is friendly and relaxed — you're likely to bump into the neighbours out and about, and they'll always say hello.
The cottage is just a five-minute walk from Burra's charming main street, with local restaurants, pubs and coffee shops all within easy strolling distance. The area is rich with heritage sites, walking trails and the famous Burra Heritage Passport experience.

Booking Policy
Payment Schedule
A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to secure your dates. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your arrival.
Payment accepted via direct bank transfer. Details provided on confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable unless the dates can be re-booked.
We recommend travel insurance for peace of mind.
